The 48th annual Cowan Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 starting at 1:00 p.m. at Cookie’s Corner and proceeding down Cumberland Street through the downtown area to end at Cowan Elementary School. The theme for the 2012 parade is “A Storybook Christmas”. There are many Christmas stories and we encourage people to showcase their favorite one on their float. Over $2100 in prize money will be awarded for parade entries in six different categories.
“The parade committee invites you to come out and share in the fun and excitement of the annual Christmas parade in beautiful Cowan, Tennessee.
