“The parade committee invites you to come out and share in the fun and excitement of the annual Christmas parade in beautiful Cowan, Tennessee. The parade with its marching bands, colorful floats, and the Shriner’s Tin Lizzie Unit marks the official start of the Cowan holiday season.”

The deadline for submitting parade entry forms is Friday, November 30, 2018  at 12:00 noon.

For the last 54 years, as many as 5,000 Franklin Countians and visitors from surrounding areas have enjoyed the parade and we look forward to another wonderful parade for 2018.

We are once again sponsoring the “Cowan Christmas Market” at Monterey Station on Friday, November 30 and Saturday, December 1.   Booth spaces feature 50+ vendors with a wide variety of products, including food booths. We invite everyone to visit the market and get some of your Christmas shopping done. Booths will be open for business from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 30. In addition,  we have scheduled entertainment, and other activities for your enjoyment during the evening. Saturday hours for vendors will be from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

On Saturday after the parade, there  will be a meet and greet reception for the Grand Marshal at the Christmas Market. Cupcakes and punch will be served free to the public.
